Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
🤔 Why can't I play certain channels?
GloboView relies on publicly available stream URLs from the IPTV-Org project. Playback issues can occur for several reasons:
- The stream source might be temporarily or permanently offline.
- The stream could be geographically restricted (geo-blocked).
- The stream format or codecs might not be compatible with your browser/player.
- Some streams require specific configurations (User-Agents/Referrers) not implemented here.
- The stream server's CORS policy might prevent playback in web browsers.
We show a warning if a direct stream URL isn't found, but playback success for listed URLs isn't guaranteed.
🔊 Why do some channels play only audio?
This usually indicates an issue with the video track, like an unsupported video codec by your browser, or the stream might genuinely only contain audio data.
⚖️ Is using GloboView legal?
GloboView itself is a tool for accessing publicly listed stream URLs; it hosts no content. The legality of viewing specific streams depends on the content's copyright and local laws. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with copyright laws in their region.
⏳ Why is the channel list sometimes slow after selection?
The application works with thousands of channels. While optimized, filtering this large dataset can take a moment, especially on less powerful devices.
➕ Can I add or request channels?
GloboView only displays channels from the IPTV-Org database. To add or correct channels, please contribute directly to the IPTV-Org project.
